Study Information:
This state-of-the-art research study is evaluating how biofeedback-enhanced ACL injury prevention training can affect female athletes movement patterns in athletic situations.
In this study, the athlete performs core strength, plyometrics, and strength training exercises while receiving live neuromuscular biofeedback training using augmented reality (AR).
This feedback training, known as aNMT (augmented neuromuscular training), leverages science-driven, personalized medicine for rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement.
These training sessions take place 3 times a week for 6 weeks.
This study also utilizes virtual reality to measure an athletes movement in virtual sport-scenarios before and after the training program.
We are looking for female athletes (age 12-18) who play organized volleyball, basketball, or soccer to participate in this study.
