Study Information:

  • This state-of-the-art research study is evaluating how biofeedback-enhanced ACL injury prevention training can affect female athletes movement patterns in athletic situations.
  • In this study, the athlete performs core strength, plyometrics, and strength training exercises while receiving live neuromuscular biofeedback training using augmented reality (AR).
  • This feedback training, known as aNMT (augmented neuromuscular training), leverages science-driven, personalized medicine for rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement.
  • These training sessions take place 3 times a week for 6 weeks.
  • This study also utilizes virtual reality to measure an athletes movement in virtual sport-scenarios before and after the training program.

  • We are looking for female athletes (age 12-18) who play organized volleyball, basketball, or soccer to participate in this study.
